“This may be the biggest crowd we’ve had for days,” Matt Lauer said to Meredith Vieira this morning on Today. “It reminds me of Paul — Paul McCartney,” she said, “So, I get it.”
The Plaza was “Bieberized,” as in Justin Bieber. Al Roker had to shout over fans’ screams to say, “Here’s what’s happening in your neck of the Bieberwoods!”
Today, Bieber announced the second leg of My World tour, adding 35 cities, starting in Timonium, Md., on Sept. 5 and wrapping up on Dec. 23 in Atlanta. The pop star also announced that $1.00 from each ticket will be donated to Pencils of Promise, a charity devoted to education. Justin’s goal is to build 15 schools around the world for needy children.
